United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
As a strong defender of the rights of women around the world and supporter of international family planning, Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney has been working to ensure that the United States contributes funding to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
UNFPA assists developing countries, at their request, to address reproductive health and population issues. UNFPA programs are funded through voluntary contributions by United Nations member states.
